Beihang University is committed to building first-class innovation platforms and research bases, comprehensively enhancing its technological innovation capabilities. It is responsible for the construction of three national laboratories and participates in the construction of eight national laboratories. It has been approved to construct one national major scientific and technological infrastructure. It has taken the lead in building eight national key laboratories and co-building 12 national key laboratories. In addition, it has eight national science and technology innovation centers, three national industry-education integration innovation platforms, four Beijing high-end innovation centers, 83 provincial or ministerial level platforms, and 23 liberal arts platforms or think tanks. Together, it has formed a laboratory system with Beihang University's own features, which is led by national laboratories and scientific apparatus, with national platforms as its core, provincial and ministerial platforms as foundation, and university-level scientific and educational collaborative platforms as support, achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement.
