The 13th Beihang University Vision Forum for International Young Scholars will be held on December 17, 2022 both online and offline, as part of the Beihang's 70th Anniversary Series activities.
Focusing on the goal of building a world-class university with Chinese characteristics, this forum will concentrate on the international academic frontier, develop academic vision and promote exchanges and cooperation through various forms. It works to enhance a comprehensive understanding of excellent young scholars from home and abroad on Beihang's development strategy, discipline construction, scientific research, talent cultivation and other policy systems, as well as the Beihang spirit of serving the country in the fields of aeronautics and astronautics.
This year, the main forum will be held on December 17, 2022 (Beijing time, the same below), and outstanding young scholars from home and abroad are specially invited to attend the conference online. The 32 sub-forums of different disciplines will be held also online from December 18, 2022 to December 31, 2022.
The Beihang University Vision Forum has been successfully held for twelve sessions, providing a platform for domestic and overseas young scholars to conduct academic exchanges and introduce their relevant achievements. More than 240 young scholars have become members of Beihang's talent team through this forum, including more than 80 national young scholars.
As an important part of the recruitment process, the forum enables young scholars to have in-depth interviews with the faculty of their choice. Details of the 2023 recruitment plan and positions will soon be announced on Beihang's recruitment website (http://recruit.buaa.edu.cn).
Qualified young scholars at home and abroad are welcome to register online by visiting the application system (https://crm.9151.com.cn/vimVT). The deadline for registration is December 11, 2022. After comprehensive evaluation by the experts from the forum’s Organising Committee, invitation letters will be sent to eligible talents via email from December 12 to December 13, 2022. The specific schedules of each disciplinary sub-forum will be notified later according to the arrangement of each faculty.
