An article titled “Intentionally induced swirling flow may improve the hemodynamic performance of coronary bifurcation stenting” by the research group led by Prof. Fan Yubo from the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering was published in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions. This study therefore suggests that intentionally inducing swirling flow might be a good strategy in bifurcation stenting.
