
Guo Lin (1964.10—) is a professor and PhD supervisor as well as Executive Dean of the School of Chemistry, Beihang University. He received his doctor’s degree from Beijing Institute of Technology and did his postdoctoral research at the National Sychrotron Radiation Laboratory of the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program and an awardee of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
His research focuses on the preparation, microstructure characterization and properties of nanometer materials. He has published over 230 papers in journals listed in the Science Citation Index, such as Chem. Soc. Rev. J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. In. Ed., Adv. Mater. He has led several nation projects and won a second prize of the State Natural Science Award as well as a first prize of the natural science award of the Ministry of Education of China.
Prof. Guo was a visiting scholar at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a research fellow sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at Technische Universität Dresden. Currently, he is a follow of The Royal Society of Chemistry and also holds positions at the Key Laboratory of Bio-inspired Intelligent Science and Technology, the Chinese Society of Chemistry, etc. He enjoys the special government allowance from the State Council of China.
