Guo Lei

Guo Lei (1966—) is a professor and PhD supervisor in the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering of Beihang University, and Vice Director of the National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Aircraft Control. He is a distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program and an awardee of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

Prof. Guo received his doctor’s degree from Southeast University in 1997. His research focuses on the control theory for uncertain stochastic systems and the technology of high-precision navigation and control systems. His publications include more than 80 papers in journals indexed by SCI, one monograph in English published by Springer and one by CRC Press. He has led more than 20 national projects and won a second prize of the State Natural Science Award as well as a second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

From 1999 to 2007, he was funded by the French government, the Royal Society and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and conducted collaborative research in France, Britain and Japan respectively. At present, he is a member of Editorial Board of two international journals listed in the Science Citation Index (SCI) and five domestic journals.
