
Jiang Jie (1973.3—) is a professor and PhD supervisor in the School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering of Beihang University. She was supported by the NSFC Excellent Young Scholars Program in 2013, and awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2017.
Prof. Jiang received her doctor’s degree from Tianjin University in 2000. Her research focuses on celestial sensor technology and embedded real-time image processing technology. She successfully developed a series of miniaturized, high-precision and high dynamic star sensors, which have been applied to several satellites.
Prof. Jiang has published 28 papers in journals listed in the Science Citation Index and over 50 papers indexed by Ei Compendex. She has led more than 20 national projects and won a first prize and a second prize of the State Technological Invention Award, a second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and five ministry-level prizes. She also holds 59 patents, including four U.S. patents.
