Li Meng has received faculty fellowships provided by AVIC Chengdu Aircraft Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. and AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry Group Co., Ltd. In Beihang’s “I Love My Teacher” event, she was a winner of the Ten Best Teachers Award and the Humorous Teacher Award. She has also received Beihang Teaching Achievement Award and Beihang Teaching Excellence Award several times. She has been teaching Introduction to Translation (a course included in Beihang’s project of developing top-level undergraduate programs), English Listening, Speaking and Writing (a Beihang Double Hundred Quality Course), Summary of East-West Exchange (a Beihang Core General Course) and Stylistics and Translation Practice (a graduate course), and the number of her annual teaching periods is beyond 400. Her classes have remarkable results and are well-received by students. She had been Head of the Department of Translation and Interpretation for nearly 10 years, and Beihang’s undergraduate program of Translation and Interpretation ranked second nationwide in 2020. In the last three years, she has been a mentor of Zhixing College and the head teacher for the class of translation and interpretation majors, making excellent achievements in work. She has finished a number of university-level teaching reform projects and published several translations. She pays attention to enlightening students in classroom and developing comprehensive abilities in them through various teaching forms and content, winning the love and trust of her students.
