Leveraging the university's strength in scientific research, the School integrates renowned innovation programs like the "Feng Ru Cup," providing opportunities for creative and practical training. In 2021, students independently developed the "Feng Ru 3-100" drone, which set a world record for endurance in its category. Through collaborations with the Engineering Practice and Innovation Center and the industry, the School has established a series of university-enterprise joint laboratories and courses in engineering innovation and practice. These programs are shared with other universities in Beijing's Shahe Higher Education Alliance, receiving high praise from municipal leaders.
