Through years of exploration and practice, the Dual-Training Program at the School of Beijing has consistently enhanced the quality of talent development, achieving notable outcomes:
• Strong Performance in Practical and Innovative Competencies
Over 50% of the students have participated in academic and technological competitions at all levels, innovation and entrepreneurship contests, key scientific and technological innovation projects as well as social practice activities. They have won top honors for three consecutive sessions, including the Special Award of the national Challenge Cup and the Gold Award of the national Internet Plus College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The School's key scientific and technological innovation team, the "Feng Ru No. 3," has broken the world endurance record for 25–100 kg class gasoline-powered fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles twice.
• All-round Development of Students' Comprehensive Quality
During summer and winter vacations, students actively engage in social practice and research activities organized by Beihang University, and have been awarded titles such as the "National Top 100 Practice Teams" and the "Excellent Teams of Beijing Summer Social Practice." The School attaches great importance to students' mental health development, and has hosted university-level and institute-level Mental Health Month activities for consecutive years. It has also won the Group Second Prize and multiple Individual First Prizes at the Beijing Mental Health Festival.
• Continuous Improvement in Further Education and Employment
The postgraduate enrollment rate of students has increased from the initial 20% to 40%, with a growing number admitted to “Double First-Class” universities. Employment data show that graduates of the Dual-Training Program show a strong preference for careers in aerospace-related enterprises and public institutions, and they demonstrate distinct competitive advantages in the job market.
