Abstract:
Why does tradition need to be rejuvenated in the contemporary era? And how can tradition be integrated into contemporary contexts? Through artistic creations and design cases such as contemporary ink art and immersive digital ink-generated video installations, this lecture explores how digital technology and artificial intelligence can drive the innovative evolution of Chinese art and design in the transformation from tradition to modernity, across multiple dimensions including contemporaneity, uniqueness, and spirituality.
