Abstract:

Starting from fundamental principles, this lecture introduces the basic concepts of ultrafast laser additive-subtractive manufacturing and presents the application types of femtosecond laser-based additive-subtractive manufacturing.

About the speaker:

Li Jiebo is an Associate Professor at the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering, Beihang University. He joined Beihang University in 2018. His research focuses on the instrumentation development of ultrafast laser detection and precision manufacturing technologies, as well as their applications in biomedical engineering. He has published over 70 papers in journals including Cell, International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, Nature Communications, and PNAS. As the primary inventor, he has been granted more than 10 invention patents, some of which have achieved industrial application. He has also received a first prize for Scientific and Technological Progress at the provincial/ministerial level.
