Trio Hélios Piano Concert

When the tacit understanding between close friends blends into the warm timbre bearing the name of the Sun God, and the rigorous structure of Classicism meets the poetic light and shadow of Impressionism, the Sunrise Concert Hall will welcome an impassioned performance by Trio Hélios. From Haydn and Beethoven to Lili Boulanger and Ravel, a selection of timeless masterpieces will take you on a musical journey spanning over a century.

Time: Monday, June 8, 2026, 19:00

Venue: Sunrise Concert Hall, Xueyuan Road Campus

Student Registration:

Students may register via the Boya Platform (https://bykc.buaa.edu.cn) or by scanning the QR code below. Successful registrants will be granted one Boya activity credit. Registration closes on Sunday, June 7, at 12:00.

If the number of registrations exceeds venue capacity, a lottery will be held. Notifications will be sent via the iBeihang APP on June 7, and a link to check lottery results will be posted in the comments of the event announcement.

Ticket Collection (Students):

This event requires a physical ticket. Students must present their valid Beihang ID card along with either a Boya course selection confirmation or a lottery-winning notification screenshot.

Faculty & Staff Registration:

Faculty and staff members interested in attending should contact the trade union representative of their respective department to register and collect tickets.

About the Performer:

Founded in 2014, Trio Hélios takes its name from Helios, the Sun God in Greek mythology, who symbolizes light, strength, and hope. The name also reflects their original aspiration: to convey warmth and energy through music. Their performances have taken them to the world's most prestigious venues and renowned music festivals, earning them widespread acclaim from audiences worldwide.

Alexis Gournel (piano), Luka Ispir (violin), and Raphaël Jouan (cello) studied at the CNSMDP (Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris) and are ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy) alumni. The Trio is the "Ensemble en résidence" at the Fondation Singer-Polignac, bringing exceptional musicianship to the international stage.

Alexis Gournel (piano)

Renowned for his refinement as a chamber musician, Alexis Gournel performs regularly in some of the world's most prestigious venues including the Philharmonie de Paris, as well as international music festivals. He contributes actively to the creation of innovative and original artistic projects, with recordings receiving numerous accolades, including Diapason d'Or and 4T Télérama. Graduating from CNSMDP, he holds three master's degrees in piano performance, chamber music, and music education.

Luka Ispir (violin)

Luka began playing the violin at the age of 5, was admitted to the CNSMDP at 16, and later studied in Berlin and Switzerland. He is a laureate of several international competitions, including 1st prize at the Rotary Club Soloist Prize and Grand Prize from the Safran Foundation. Luka is regularly invited as a soloist and has performed with the Normandy Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Accademia di La Scala in Milan. He has also been invited to perform at the Menuhin Festival, the Evian Musical Encounters, and other festivals.

Raphaël Jouan (cello)

Cellist Raphaël Jouan is renowned for his outstanding technical abilities and enveloping warm tone. He is a graduate of the CNSMDP, furthered his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, and was selected for the Gautier Capuçon Excellence Program. In 2018, he was nominated for the prestigious Classe d'Excellence de Violoncelle of Gautier Capuçon. He performs regularly on prestigious stages such as the Philharmonie de Paris and Wigmore Hall, and has a strong interest in improvisation and world music.

1. This event is exclusively for current undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, as well as faculty and staff of Beihang University.

2. Each student or faculty ID can only submit the registration form once. Please fill it out carefully.

3. Each student or faculty ID is eligible for one ticket only. Tickets are non-transferable and for personal use only.
