On June 1, in the 1st Beijing International Student Robot Competition, Beihang International Student Robot Team sent three teams composed of Chinese and international students to compete with more than ten international student robot teams from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing University of Technology, China University of Petroleum-Beijing and other universities in Beijing, the capital of China. Beihang team finally won the championship.

Taking this competition as an opportunity and under the background of Emerging Engineering Education, Beihang International School has actively explored the construction of the "second classroom". In early April, with the strong support of leaders and teachers from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation and Beihang Robot Team, Beihang International School prepared to establish the Beihang International Student Robot Team. They also held a sharing meeting related to the team construction to jointly explore the integration training mechanism of Chinese and international students in the field of science and innovation. Liang Jianhong from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation was hired as an instructor to provide technical guidance and regular training.

The International School will continue to enchance the construction of the International Student Robot Team, and explore a long-term construction mechanism. They will also devote efforts to the construction and planning of a comprehensive science and innovation platform with the integration of multiple disciplines, and constantly improve international students' comprehensive abilities and qualities.
