Beihang University has once again claimed the Victory Cup at the 15th "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students Entrepreneurship Competition, with six projects reaching the final round and the university ranking seventh nationwide in total points. The awards were announced at the competition's closing ceremony on November 2.

In the main competition, Beihang earned one special prize, four first prizes, and one second prize. Its teams also won ten third prizes in the Northeast Revitalization Industrial Upgrading special competition. Beihang has now won the Victory Cup at seven consecutive editions since the award was introduced in 2014.

Two Beihang projects drew media attention during the final round: "City Vein CT—An Unmanned Inspection and Structural Safety Diagnosis Platform for Ancient Buildings" and "AI-Sim—An AI-Enhanced Full-Stack Smart Manufacturing Platform for Advanced Chips." Both were featured by China Youth Daily and Beidou Media.

At the closing ceremony's youth innovation sharing session, Tian Yaosi, a 1998 alumnus of Beihang University's School of Astronautics and now Party Secretary and Vice President of LandSpace, spoke about the company's advances in reusable rocket technology. He encouraged young people to dedicate their aspirations to industry and contribute to the country through aerospace and industrial development.

This year's "Challenge Cup" was jointly hosted by the Communist Youth League of China Central Committee, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the All-China Students' Federation, and the Liaoning Provincial People's Government. The event included the main competition, the Northeast Revitalization Industrial Upgrading special competition and a "revealing the list and taking the lead" special competition.
