On the morning of June 24, Beihang professors received four State Science and Technology Awards at the annual National Science and Technology Award Conference held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Beihang Party Secretary Zhao Changlu and President Wang Yunpeng attended the meeting, along with Prof. Yao Yangping, Prof. Jiang Chengbao, Prof. Wang Qionghua, and Prof. Tao Fei, four winners of this year’s award.

Of the four awards Beihang received, one is the State Natural Science Award, two are the State Technological Invention Awards, and one is the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award.

The research project “The Unified Hardening Models for Soils”, led by Prof. Yao Yangping obtained the second prize of the State Natural Science Award.

The research project “High-Performance High-Temperature Rare Earth Permanent Magnetic Material and Its Applications”, led by Prof. Jiang Chengbao obtained the second prize of the State Technological Invention Award.

The research project “Key Technologies and Applications of Integrated Light Field 3D Display”, led by Prof. Wang Qionghua received the second prize of the State Technological Invention Award.

The research project “Key Common Technology and Standard System of Digital Twin Driven Operation Management and Control for Complex Equipment”, led by Prof. Tao Fei won the second prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
