Beihang University opened its doors to prospective students and parents during the 2025 Campus Open Day and Admissions Information Session, held simultaneously across its three campuses in Beijing (Xueyuan Road Campus and Shahe Campus) and Hangzhou (International Campus) on June 14 and 15. The event provided a professional and convenient platform for prospective students and their parents to gain insights into Beihang’s 2025 admissions policies, distinctive educational features, academic strengths, and future career prospects.

On June 15, President Wang Yunpeng and Vice President Deng Yi visited the Xueyuan Road Campus, engaging with attendees and expressing their appreciation to the faculty and students who contributed to the event. Admissions teams from each school provided in-depth consultations on academic majors, research directions, and career prospects, while the Admissions Office detailed the 2025 admissions policies and enrollment procedures.

The day also featured the 2025 Admissions Information Session at the Sunrise Concert Hall. Liu Rui, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Department and Director of the Admissions Office, delivered a keynote speech outlining Beihang’s history, academic strengths, and the key features of the 2025 admissions policy. Other university leaders, including Qian Zheng, Director of the Academic Affairs Department, Liu Hu, Dean of Beihang School and Director of the Engineering Practice and Innovation Center, and Dong Zhuoning, Assistant President and Dean of the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute, shared insights into the university’s talent cultivation strategies, interdisciplinary programs, and international cooperative education initiatives.

A subsequent press conference attracted over 20 media outlets, including People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, China Youth Daily, and Beijing Daily, to discuss admissions polices and educational innovations with representatives from the Publicity Department, Academic Affairs Department, Admissions Office, and other key units.

Throughout the open day, admissions consultation sessions were held at the Xueyuan Road Campus and Hangzhou International Campus, with participation from more than 50 universities. The Xueyuan Road Campus showcased award-winning projects from the "Feng Ru Cup" innovation competition, drawing significant interest from attendees. Visitors had access to key facilities such as the University Library, Beijing Air and Space Museum, and History Museum, while the "Parents on Campus" lab tour provided an immersive experience into Beihang’s academic rigor, cutting-edge research, and vibrant campus culture. The Hangzhou International Campus also hosted a variety of activities, including a research platform exhibition, lab tours, flight performances, student innovation displays, and a career fair.

For remote attendees, student ambassadors from the Admissions Association hosted a live "Cloud Campus Tour", guiding prospective students and parents through a virtual exploration of Beihang’s campuses and campus life.

The event garnered widespread attention from prospective students, parents, and media, laying good foundation for the upcoming admissions cycle. Approximately 10,000 attendees participated in the on-site events, while over 1 million viewers engaged with the online sessions and virtual campus tours. In the coming weeks, Beihang University’s admissions teams will travel across the country to provide personalized counseling and connect with future students.
