On the morning of June 20, the 2025 Graduation Ceremony of Beihang University was grandly held at the stadium of the Xueyuan Road campus. A total of 4,437 undergraduate students, 4,535 master's students, and 1,220 doctoral students successfully completed their studies and embarked on a new chapter in the future.

Attending the ceremony were Beihang Secretary of the Party Committee Zhao Changlu, President Wang Yunpeng, Chairman of the Academic Committee and Vice Chairman of the Degree Evaluation Committee Fang Jiancheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary Liu Hongcang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Cheng Bo, Vice Presidents Zhao Weisheng, Lyu Jinhu, Deng Yi, Wu Jianghao, and Yan Xiaojun, alumni representative Wang Yongqing, faculty representatives, Degree Evaluation Committee members, heads of various schools and administrative departments, advisors of graduating classes, as well as over a thousand parents. The ceremony was presided over by Wu Jianghao.

The ceremony officially commenced with the solemn national anthem. Fang Jiancheng announced the decision on degree conferral for the 2025 graduates. Cheng Bo announced the list of "2025 Outstanding Graduates of Beijing", and Deng Yi announced the List of the "National Defense Revitalization Employment Scholarship". Zhao Changlu and Wang Yunpeng presented certificates to the representatives of awardees. The Department of Academic Affairs and the Graduate School handed over the alumni roster to the Alumni Association.

Wang Zhenyuan, undergraduate representative from the School of Law, expressed his nostalgia for his life at Beihang and his gratitude to the alma mater in his speech. He said that looking back on the four years at Beihang, they had honed their courage to forge ahead, harvested friendships through shared struggles, and built a strong backbone of resilience and responsibility. He called on his fellows to fulfill their responsibilities through practical actions.

Zhang Chuanyu, graduate representative from the National Superior College for Engineers, shared her growth and gains during her studies at Beihang and expressed her firm determination to devote herself to the aerospace industry. She urged her fellows to immerse themselves in "real environments," solve "real problems," and cultivate "real capabilities," striving to write a Beihang answer in the new era.

Wang Yongqing, Chief Technical Expert of AVIC, addressed as alumnus representative. He fondly recalled his life at Beihang and shared his experiences and insights from his career in the aerospace industry. He encouraged students to integrate personal aspirations with China's national rejuvenation, balance perseverance with ambition, and cultivate systemic thinking for future challenges.

In his keynote address, President Wang Yunpeng highlighted graduates' outstanding achievements in various professional fields. "Looking back on your growth journey at Beihang, there was the responsibility of tackling scientific research challenges, the resilience of taking root in the borderlands to serve the people, and the confidence in conveying China's voice in civilized dialogues. Each of you has harvested your own youthful imprint."

Focusing on the opportunities and challenges in AI era, President Wang shared advice to all graduates. He urged them to embrace both "adaptability and constancy"— staying agile in a changing world while remaining anchored to their mission of serving the nation. He also emphasized balancing "principles and methods": leveraging technological innovation as a method while upholding value thinking as a principle to achieve "harmony between principles and methods."

I wish you all a prosperous future and constant happiness as you forge ahead, and may you have a wonderful life of your own!" President Wang concluded, expressing his earnest expectations to all graduates.

Following the ceremony, the 2025 Degree Conferral Ceremony was held in the gymnasium. Accompanied by the familiar melody of the university anthem, university and school leaders turned the tassels for the graduates, conferred degree certificates and extended their best wishes to them.

Before the ceremony, representatives of deans and students from different schools presented a medley of songs. Parents witnessed precious moments in their children's growth, expressing gratitude to the university and conveying love and blessings to their children.

At the end of the ceremony, all teachers and students sang the university anthem "Look Up at the Starry Sky," pushing the atmosphere to a climax. As the graduates step forward, Beihang's spirit will continue to guide them in serving the nation and shaping the future.
