On the morning of June 29, the national finals of National Youth School Football League (University Men's Division A) kicked off in full swing. After intense competition, Beihang University ultimately defeated Hohai University with a score of 6-5 in the penalty shootout, successfully defending its national championship title. The player Wu Weihao and the head coach He Xin respectively won the titles of the Best Player and the Best Coach.
The league is the most extensive, competitive and influential football competition among universities in China. Beihang University Men's Football Teampreviously triumphed in the national championships in 2018, 2020, and 2024, marking this as their fourth championship in seven years.
Beihang University has a long-standing tradition of football, having offered football courses since its early days of establishment. Over the past decade, the team has steadily grown and now comprises 35 athletes. These athletes have excelled in both sports and academics, embodying the outstanding qualities of Beihang students.
