This week, Beihang University welcomed 8,751 new graduate students across its three campuses in Beijing and Hangzhou.

On September 5, Party Committee Secretary Zhao Changlu and Vice President Deng Yi visited the registration areas and expressed their gratitude to the faculty and student volunteers assisting with orientation activities. They also extended a heartfelt welcome to the new students, inquired about their research interests, and encouraged them to delve deeply into their research fields, serve the country through aerospace endeavors and pursue excellence.

The new semester has brought a fresh atmosphere, with smiles filling the orientation sites. Each school's orientation booths were well-organized, and the orientation activities were in full swing.

The welcome activities this year were organized under the principle of "Safe, Warm, Meticulous, and Orderly," with a student-centered approach. Initiatives included shuttle services from major railway stations, and integrated service stations for tuition, residence registration, campus cards, and bank accounts, significantly streamlining the process. Carefully planned routes and procedures also ensured a smooth and secure move-in experience.

Various schools and colleges held distinctive welcome activities based on their characteristics. New students, together with the mascots, signed their names and took photos in front of the display boards, capturing their bright smiles and receiving distinctive welcome gifts.

With the ambition to serve the country through aerospace endeavors and the determination to forge ahead, the new graduate students at Beihang will embark on a new journey to pursue their dreams, carrying the pride and spirit of Beihang with them.
