On the afternoon of February 27, Zhao Changlu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Beihang University, held a discussion with student representatives at the Shahe Campus, and had an in-depth exchange with them on campus life, activities, student work and individual growth. Cheng Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the discussion.

Before the discussion, they watched a video about the wonderful campus life of Beihang students together.

During the discussion, ten student representatives from different schools talked about their ideas and schedules for the new semester, and two students exchanged their thoughts based on personal experience.

Zhao Changlu communicated with the students and asked them about their study, life, scientific research and work in student organizations. He congratulated them on their achievements and raised ardent expectations on how to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and be a person with all-round development of moral character, intelligence, physical health, aesthetics, and labor skills.

Zhao Changlu pointed out that it is necessary to study in depth the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th Party Congress, and to firmly believe in the ideal and forge ahead with a pioneering spirit. He stressed the need to firmly establish the core socialist values, scientific understanding of the world, and accurately grasp the two overall situations. He said that the ideological guidance, knowledge learning and practical exercise should be promoted coordinately to encourage all-round development of individuals. Outstanding students should play an exemplary and more active role in the implementation of the fundamental task of building moral character and promoting the overall growth of students.
