Beihang showcases cutting-edge research at 2025 China University Scientific and Technological Achievement Fair

From December 15 to 17, the 2025 China University Scientific and Technological Achievement Fair, hosted by the Center for Scientific Research and Development in Higher Education Institutes of the Ministry of Education and the National University Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area), was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. A delegation from Beihang University, led by Vice Presidents Lyu Jinhu and Deng Yi, actively participated in the event.

The delegation included Xiang Jinwu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, alongside directors, expert professors, and student representatives from the university's Technology Transfer Center, Science Park Company, Student Center, School of Electronic and Information Engineering, School of Transportation Science and Engineering, School of Astronautics, and Institute of Unmanned Systems.

The opening ceremony witnessed the official unveiling of the National University Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area). Nearly 60 leading Chinese universities, including Beihang, signed cooperation agreements with the municipal governments of Guangzhou and Shenzhen to jointly develop the center. Lyu Jinhu represented Beihang University at the signing ceremony.

During the fair, Deng Yi was invited to participate in an exchange forum on student entrepreneurship. She delivered a keynote report and shared the university's experiences and approaches in fostering student innovation and venture creation.

Xiang Jinwu attended a thematic exchange session on "Building a Land-Air Integrated Intelligent Mobility Sub-Center for University Technology Transfer." He presented a specialized report on "Intelligently Leading Low-Altitude, Building a Green Future—Technologies and Development of the Low-Altitude Economy Equipment."

Beihang University showcased a total of 13 scientific and technological achievements at the fair. Among them, the "Tilt-Rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle" and the "Satellite Instant Data Service System for Complex Environments" were promoted through live roadshows. Achievements such as the "Space Electric Propulsion System," the "Low-Altitude Hyperspectral UAV Multi-Source Remote Sensing System," and the "Intelligent Inspection System for Offshore Equipment Based on an Amphibious Water-Air Drone" were displayed through physical exhibits and presentation panels. The "Harrier-Inspired Land-Air Amphibious Flying Car," a result of a student startup team, was featured in the Student Entrepreneurship Demonstration Zone.

Throughout the exhibition, Lyu Jinhu and Deng Yi visited the Beihang booths, engaging in in-depth discussions and exchanging insights with participating faculty and student teams.
