Beihang University recently held a series of events to honor its 2026 spring cohort of postgraduate graduates, marking the commencement of a new chapter for 1,688 students.

University President Wang Yunpeng, along with Vice Presidents Zhao Weisheng, Deng Yi, and Wu Jianghao, attended graduation ceremonies across various schools. They presented diplomas, adjusted the tassels on graduates' caps, and engaged in discussions with student representatives.

Addressing the ceremonies, President Wang extended his warmest congratulations to the graduates and expressed sincere gratitude to the faculty and families for their unwavering support.

At the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Wang commended the students' remarkable academic achievements. He urged them to anchor their endeavors in national needs, pursue excellence with relentless curiosity, and uphold the Beihang tradition, contributing collectively to the nation's strategic goals.

During the ceremony at the School of Transportation Science and Engineering, Wang praised the graduates' perseverance and collaborative spirit. Highlighting the critical phase of high-quality development in China's transportation sector, he encouraged them to embrace three guiding principles: Navigation, Innovation, and Determination. He advised them to proactively adapt to industry transformations in the AI era and demonstrate tenacity in their respective fields.

At the School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, Wang reflected on the students' journey alongside the development of the discipline. He encouraged them to integrate personal aspirations with national development, maintain an innovative spirit to forge their unique paths, and advance steadily with patience and resilience.

At the graduates' symposium, 15 student representatives fondly recalled their youthful years at Beihang University, shared their growth and achievements during their studies, expressed deep affection for their alma mater, and offered suggestions on enhancing career planning guidance, strengthening employment platform development, and establishing alumni support mechanisms.

President Wang acknowledged their constructive feedback and spoke highly of their growth and accomplishments during their studies. He reaffirmed Beihang's commitment to its founding mission of nurturing talent for the nation, focusing on student-centered needs, and promoting comprehensive educational reforms to provide "warm and empowering" education. He offered advice for graduates: hone professional competency for becoming industry backbones, enhance organizational and collaborative skills for holistic development, and cultivate leadership capabilities to become new-generation pioneers who serve national aerospace causes and pursue excellence. "I wish you all a splendid future and remarkable success. Beihang will always be your home." Wang concluded.

During the graduation season, schools and colleges organized a series of graduation events, creating a warm and well-organized graduation atmosphere and extending heartfelt care and earnest wishes to all the graduates. Faculty and student representatives gathered together to recall the years of academic pursuits. With deep affection, the faculty shared their sincere blessings, encouraging the students to carry the earnest expectations of their alma mater, forge ahead and achieve great success on their new life journeys.

These graduation events, including university-level and school-level ceremonies, symposiums, and photo sessions, serve as a key component of Beihang's graduation education. The main university-wide commencement ceremony is held annually in June, open to all graduating cohorts.
