On March 25, a nine-member delegation led by Shamil Akhmetov, Vice Rector of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University), and Nikolay Ushatskiy, Director of the Center for Financial and Economic Solutions in Education, visited Beihang University.
Huang Haijun, Deputy Chair of the University Council, welcomed the delegation at Ruxin Conference Center. Representatives from the International Relations Department, School of Economics and Management, Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, and School of Humanities and Social Sciences (School of Public Administration) attended the meeting.

Huang Haijun extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He noted that Russian universities are important international partners for Beihang, highlighting HSE University's notable strengths in disciplines such as economics, management, and artificial intelligence. He emphasized the strong complementarity between the two institutions and their shared commitment to collaboration, pointing to broad prospects for future cooperation. He expressed hope that both sides would further deepen their partnership, engaging in more substantive cooperation in areas such as international talent cultivation and joint research.
Shamil Akhmetov expressed gratitude for Beihang's hospitality and commended the university's achievements in international education. He noted that the visit had provided valuable insights into the strong commitment to cooperation on the Chinese side. Looking ahead, he emphasized the potential for deepening collaboration through faculty research partnerships and dual-degree programs, with the goal of advancing the partnership to broader and deeper levels.

Following the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including international education, student recruitment and cultivation, and discipline development, reaching consensus on several key areas.
During their visit, the delegation also toured the Beijing Air and Space Museum at Beihang University.
