On April 9, Gwenaëlle Guillerme, Secretary General of the T.I.M.E. (Top International Managers in Engineering) Association, paid an official visit to Beihang University. The delegation was received by Bai Lin, Director of the International Relations Department, along with representatives from the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

During the meeting, Bai Lin extended a warm welcome to Secretary General Guillerme. He reviewed the history of cooperation between Beihang and the T.I.M.E. Association and highlighted the university's notable achievements in international education. As a member institution, Beihang has consistently valued deep collaboration with the Association and its member universities, continuously advancing internationalization in engineering education and dual-degree programs. Leveraging the Association's network, Beihang has achieved fruitful results in multilateral cooperation. Looking ahead, Bai expressed the university's commitment to further strengthening exchanges and practical cooperation with the T.I.M.E. Association.

Guillerme expressed high appreciation for Beihang's longstanding support for the Association and its contributions to promoting Sino-European engineering education exchanges. She introduced the Association's global strategy, development plans, and key priorities in international scientific and educational cooperation. She elaborated on topics such as the optimization of dual-degree programs, student recruitment and outreach, and university-industry collaborative initiatives. She noted that the Association will continue to assist member universities in refining dual-degree training models, broadening channels for student mobility, integrating corporate resources, and enhancing support systems including scholarships and internship opportunities, thereby strengthening the overall appeal of international education.

The two sides then engaged in productive discussions on strengthening multilateral cooperation networks, deepening dual-degree collaborations, and expanding summer school programs, reaching broad consensus. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening practical cooperation in talent cultivation, joint research, and the integration of education with industry. These efforts aim to support Beihang's international development strategy and jointly enhance the global influence of the T.I.M.E. Association.

Founded in 1989 by the École Centrale Paris, the T.I.M.E. Association is a network of leading engineering schools and technical universities from Europe. It aims to facilitate student and institutional mobility, promote cooperation among member universities in engineering education—particularly through dual-degree programs—and cultivate globally competent engineers with strong cross-cultural understanding and professional excellence. Currently, the Association comprises 60 member universities from 27 countries across Europe, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, and beyond.
