From June 13 to 14, 2026 Beihang Campus Open Day & Admissions Information Session was held at the Xueyuan Road Campus, Shahe Campus, and Hangzhou International Campus. The event provided a professional and convenient platform for prospective students and their parents to learn about the highlights of Beihang's 2026 admissions policies, talent cultivation features, discipline and program strengths, as well as further education and career prospects.

On June 14, President Wang Yunpeng and Vice President Deng Yi visited the open day event at the Xueyuan Road Campus, engaging warmly with students and their parents, learning about the disciplinary layouts, talent cultivation, and student development of various schools, and extending greetings to the faculty and students on site. Experienced admissions team of each school provided consultation throughout the day, addressing questions from students and parents regarding academic disciplines, research directions, and career prospects.

2026 Admissions Information Session was also held on the same day at the Sunrise Concert Hall. Liu Rui, Director of the Admissions Office, delivered a keynote report detailing Beihang's history, academic strengths, highlights of the 2026 admissions plan, and admissions policies in Beijing. Du Pengcheng, Deputy Dean of the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute; Dai Fei, Party Secretary of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering; and Liu Wenlong, Executive Deputy Dean of the School of Space and Earth Sciences, provided detailed introductions to three new undergraduate programs this year: the China-Spain Smart Experimentation Class, the Electromagnetic Field and Wireless Technology Excellent Talent Pilot Program, and the Space Science and Technology Excellent Talent Pilot Program.

During the event, admissions counseling sessions were held at both the Xueyuan Road Campus in Beijing and the Hangzhou International Campus, with over 50 other universities participating on site. Outstanding innovation projects of Beihang's "Fengru Cup" Competition were also showcased at the Xueyuan Road Campus, drawing significant attention. The Library, Beijing Air and Space Museum, University History Museum at the Xueyuan Road Campus, and the Shahe Campus were open to visitors, enabling students and parents to experience Beihang's academic, research, living environments, andits vibrant campus culture. The Hangzhou International Campus simultaneously opened its doors and hosted a series of activities, including research platform achievement exhibitions, laboratory tours, racing and flight demonstrations, student innovation displays, and entrepreneurial project roadshows. Additionally, a "Virtual Campus Tour" live stream was hosted across the three campuses in Beijing and Hangzhou. 10 student representatives from the Beihang Admissions Association guided online visitors on a tour of the campuses and campus life.

In 2026, Beihang continues to build a Beihang model for independent cultivation of top-tier innovative talent in the new era. The university offers undergraduate programs in strategic emerging fields, interdisciplinary areas, foundational sciences, and new engineering disciplines, while further expanding high-level Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. Compared to previous years, the university has optimized the structure of broad-based enrollment, and continued to upgrade its broad-based cultivation mechanisms. Additionally, Beihang is deepening its AI curriculum ecosystem, adding "AI+" double-degree programs such as "English + AI" and "German + AI."

The event received widespread attention and positive feedback from prospective students, parents, and media, laying a solid foundation for 2026 college admission. Nearly 10,000 students, parents, and media reporters attended the events on site, and over 1 million watched the admissions information session and campus tour live stream online. In the upcoming days, Beihang's admissions teams will travel across the country to provide face-to-face admissions consultations for the students.
