Beihang University has once again claimed the highest honor at the 2026 "Challenge Cup" Capital College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, marking its eighth straight title since 2019.

All 17 entries from Beihang in the main competition advanced to the final defense, securing 6 grand prizes, 7 first prizes, and 4 second prizes. In total, Beihang won 154 awards, recognizing 739 students and 214 faculty members. In the "Open Competition" special track, Beihang students won 12 championships (including 9 in the New Quality Productive Forces track), along with 7 additional grand prizes, 23 first prizes, 33 second prizes, and 62 third prizes, hitting a record high in total awards.
Jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, the Beijing Youth Federation, and the Beijing Students Federation, the 2026 "Challenge Cup" Capital College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition is an exemplary competition fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among university students. This year's competition was hosted by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, attracting 6,000 project entries from 90 universities across Beijing.

In recent years, based on its longstanding "Fengru Cup" competition, Beihang has developed a four-tiered innovation and entrepreneurship education system—"Classroom Teaching, Campus Contest, Domestic Competition, International Platform"—to encourage outstanding student innovation projects to participate in competitions, incubating a large number of influential innovation and entrepreneurship achievements.
