During the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), Beihang University Press and Springer Nature held a signing ceremony for their strategic cooperation agreement.

At the ceremony, representatives from both sides delivered speeches. Liu Desheng, Chairman of Beihang University Press, stated that this cooperation marks an important opportunity to expand international distribution channels and advance the press's global development. Leveraging the established overseas distribution network, the press will promote more original academic works to the international market, while actively introducing high-quality academic resources from abroad, thereby building a two-way platform for Sino-foreign scientific and technological exchange.

James Finlay, Vice President of Applied Sciences Books at Springer Nature, noted that the group has long been engaged in academic publishing in China. He expressed the hope that the project will serve as a starting point to continuously expand cooperation areas and contribute to global knowledge sharing and academic exchange.

Under the agreement, both parties will integrate their respective strengths in academic content, professional publishing, and global dissemination, with a focus on collaborative efforts in aerospace and other advantageous fields. The first joint project, the Research on Aerospace Dynamics and Control book series (English edition), was concurrently launched at the signing ceremony. This series will present cutting-edge research in aerospace dynamics and control, providing professional academic references for researchers, engineers, and students worldwide, while enabling the international community to gain insights into China's scientific and technological innovation.

Closely aligning its core business with the national strategy for scientific and technological development, Beihang University Press leverages its strengths in aerospace engineering. It has been recognized as one of CNKI's Most Academically Influential Publishers (2014–2023 and 2015–2024), and ranked among CNKI TOP 20 University Presses in Academic Influence (2015–2024). Multiple titles have been included in CNKI's National TOP 1% Most Highly Cited Books. Additionally, the press consistently ranks among China's top publishers in fields such as electrical and electronic engineering, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing.
