During the 9th China Aeronautical Science and Technology Conference, Beihang University received a total of 36 awards and honors, ranking first in the number of awards.
The conference was attended by 20 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering and 3,586 scientific and technological professionals. During the conference, the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) held its annual award ceremony, presenting the Science and Technology Awards and announcing the shortlist for talent programs.
Beihang was recognized for 7 major scientific and technological challenges in aviation for the year. Its honors also included 21 Science and Technology Awards from CSAA (including 6 first prizes as the lead institution), 7 projects selected for the CSAA Graduate Dissertation Support Program, and 1 recipient selected for the Li Ming Young Talent Program.
