On the afternoon of September 21, Said Taha, Senior Vice President of Elsevier, and his delegation visited Beihang University. President Wang Yunpeng and Vice President Yan Xiaojun met with the guests.

Wang Yunpeng welcomed Taha and his delegation, and expressed his gratitude for Elsevier's long-term support for the university's development. He gave an overview of the university and stated that Beihang attaches great importance to basic research and international academic exchanges, and has developed distinctive strengths and unique advantages in fields such as aerospace and information. He hoped that both sides would work together on advancing interdisciplinary collaborative innovation and expanding global cooperation networks, continuously enhance academic leadership, and strive for high-quality academic achievements.

Taha congratulated Beihang on its achievements in recent years. He stated that Elsevier has continuously expanded its research analysis and decision-support business on the basis of academic publishing, helping universities worldwide assess research development trends, identify outstanding talent, and expand global cooperation networks. Elsevier will further leverage its strengths to cooperate with Beihang for shared progress in disciplinary development, research decision-making, and global academic cooperation.
