Beihang University has achieved an outstanding performance in the 2025 China International College Students' Innovation Competition (CICSIC) Beijing Regional Final, securing a record-breaking 33 first prizes, along with 23 second prizes and 39 third prizes.

A total of 805 Beihang students and 294 faculty advisors were recognized in this year’s awards, marking the highest number of winners in the university’s history. Both the quantity of top awards and the overall number of awarded projects reached new highs.
In the main track of the competition, Beihang took the lead in Beijing by claiming 28 first prizes. Five of its projects advanced to the Championship Final (top 20 in Beijing’s main track ranking), the highest number among all participating institutions in the city and a record in Beihang’s history. Notably, three undergraduate innovation works swept the top three positions in their group, while one graduate innovation project won second place in Beijing in its category.
Beyond the main track, Beihang also excelled in other segments. The university earned one first prize, two second prizes, and five third prizes in the “Youth Red Dream Building Journey” track. In the industry track, it secured four first prizes, five second prizes, and eleven third prizes. In recognition of its strong participation and coordination, Beihang was honored with the “Outstanding Organization Award.”
The 2025 China International College Students' Innovation Competition (formerly known as the “Internet+” Competition) is co-organized by the Ministry of Education and 11 other central government departments, alongside the People’s Government of Henan Province. As a flagship event in innovation and entrepreneurship education, it is widely recognized as a top global platform for dual-creation (innovation and entrepreneurship) and industry-education integration. The competition adopts a three-tier structure: preliminary rounds at the university level, regional finals, and the national championship.
This year’s Beijing regional final was hosted by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The competition attracted 21,774 project entries and 115,435 participants from across the municipality, setting new records in both scale and influence.
