On November 2, the 4th Beihang Alumni Innovation Forum themed on "Innovation China: Power of Beihang" was held at the Xi'an Hi-tech International Convention Centre. The event was hosted by the Beihang Alumni Association and co-organized by the Beihang Shaanxi Alumni Association, Zhongguancun E-Valley (Beijing) Technology Service Co., Ltd., and the Beihang Alumni Private Equity Investment Association.
Over 200 alumni attended the forum, including Liu Shuchun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Alumni Association at Beihang University; Deng Yi, Vice President of Beihang University; Chen Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone; and Ren Junfeng, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone. The forum was also live-streamed online to jointly explore new paths and opportunities for the integration of technological innovation and industry. The event was moderated by Jiang Ke, Chairman of Zhongguancun E-Valley and Vice President of the Beihang Beijing Alumni Association.

At the beginning of the event, Jiang Ke reviewed the development of the forum since its inception. From building a communication bridge for alumni at the inaugural forum to continuously promoting resource integration and industrial implementation today, the forum has witnessed the wisdom of over 30 academician experts and the active participation of more than 500 alumni.
In her speech, Deng Yi fully affirmed the platform value of the forum. She stated that over the past year, Beihang University has achieved a series of landmark accomplishments in fields such as aerospace power, intelligent unmanned systems, integrated circuits, and medical-engineering integration, including the promotion and application of the "Hummingbird" swarm drone technology and the successful tape-out of 12nm RF chip. She hoped that alumni would focus on national strategies, jointly build a "joint innovation consortium" for sci-tech breakthroughs, deepen the cooperation between university and local government to create a "Xi'an model" for the commercialization of research outcomes, and inherit the Beihang spirit to cultivate a new ecosystem of innovation culture.

Chen Hui, on behalf of the local government, extended warm congratulations on the forum's opening. In his speech, he emphasized that the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone, as a leading national high-tech zone in the central and western regions, is focusing on the layout of future industries such as aerospace technology and low-altitude economy. He sincerely welcomed Beihang alumni to bring more high-energy platforms and cutting-edge technology projects to the zone, jointly opening a new chapter in emerging fields such as optoelectronics, intelligent connected vehicles, and unmanned systems.
Bai Xiaoqing, Chairman of Xi'an Action Power Electronics Co., Ltd. and President of the Beihang Shaanxi Alumni Association shared his entrepreneurial experience as the representative of the organizers. He stated that "Innovation China" is not only a national strategy but also a significant opportunity and shared responsibility for all science and technology innovators to move upward. He expressed his intention to take this forum as a starting point to promote more in-depth cooperation between Beihang alumni and Shaanxi, jointly contributing Beihang's strength to "Innovation China."
During the forum, Ren Junfeng systematically introduced the investment environment and development advantages of the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone. He highlighted the "55611" modern industrial system, which has formed five leading industrial clusters: optoelectronic information, intelligent vehicles, biomedicine, new energy and new materials, and high-end equipment.

In the "Starlight Speech" session, five Beihang alumni representatives from different fields shared their innovative practices and industry insights in their speeches, focusing on topics such as the low-altitude economy, intelligent hardware innovation services, electric aviation, and optical technology.

The "Dialogue of the Era" session, moderated by Wang Hongwei, Founder of Huazhi Think Tank and Executive President of the Beihang Shaanxi Alumni Association, brought together five alumni guests from industry, academia, research, and investment sectors. They engaged in an in-depth exchange on "Innovation and Development of the Unmanned Systems Industry."

The guests explored the development opportunities and challenges of the unmanned systems industry from multiple dimensions such as technology R&D, industrial implementation, capital empowerment, and ecological services. They also had lively discussions on issues such as standardization construction, talent cultivation, and international cooperation, bringing the audience a thought-provoking collision of ideas with both theoretical depth and practical significance.

The event concluded with a group photo of participating guests and alumni. The 4th Beihang Alumni Innovation Forum with the theme of "Innovation China: The Power of Beihang" drew to a successful close. The forum provided a high-quality platform for alumni communication and demonstrated the influence and cohesion of Beihangers within the global network of technological innovation.
