In the final episode of the Chinese Poetry Competition (Season 10) aired on the evening of April 5, Sun Xiaojing, a postdoctoral fellow at Beihang University, claimed the championship, becoming the 10th overall winner in the competition's 100-episode history.

Sun Xiaojing is a postdoctoral researcher at Beihang University, supervised by Academician Cao Jinbin and Professor Liu Wenlong. Her research focuses on magnetospheric physics, spacecraft space environment, and space weather forecasting. She has published over a dozen papers in SCI-indexed journals, and her achievements have earned her the Outstanding Young Scholar Paper Award at the 19th Solar-Terrestrial Physics Symposium. She has also received numerous honors, including the Beijing Outstanding Graduate Award, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Outstanding Graduate Award, and the Aerospace Scholarship. Currently, she holds a Postdoctoral Science Foundation grant and has contributed to several major national science and technology projects.
Beyond her scientific accomplishments, Sun is also known for her deep engagement with classical Chinese poetry. She was the runner-up in Chinese Poetry Competition (Season 4), is an outstanding blogger on traditional Chinese culture on Weibo, and has been recognized as a distinguished author for China Science Communication, a leading science outreach platform under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

During the competition's rapid-response round, Sun demonstrated sharp reflexes and decisive answers, advancing directly to the next stage with the highest score. Her clear, logical analysis and interpretation received high praise from the judging panel. In the "Feihualing" (flying poetry) round—a fast-paced recitation challenge—she displayed an impressive command of classical verse, responding calmly and fluently to rounds of prompts, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience. In the tense championship final, Sun remained calm and steady, winning the title with a score of 7:5.

In addition to Sun's triumph, Wang Yihan, a master's student from the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Beihang University, also appeared on the program, sharing with a national audience the story of how Beihang faculty and students built "Beijing 1"—the first light passenger aircraft in China—from scratch in just 100 days.

The Chinese Poetry Competition (Season 10) is a cultural program jointly produced by the Ministry of Education, the State Language Commission, and China Media Group. Since its debut in 2016, the show has resonated with audiences across the country, embarking on a cultural journey across time and space. Through gripping contests and poetic encounters, it brings centuries-old visions to life on screen, inviting viewers to experience both the warmth and depth of Chinese culture.
