The Digital Twin International Research Center (DTIRC) serves as an international academic exchange and collaborative platform, concentrating on interdisciplinary and major scientific issues related to digital twins and digital engineering. To date, DTIRC has more than 10 members, including international scientific advisors, faculty, and postdoctoral researchers. Members of DTIRC have produced a series of influential and innovative research outcomes related to digital twin theories, technologies, tools, and standards. These research outcomes have been tracked and cited by more than 100 universities across the global, and referred and applied by over 100 companies. Moreover, DTIRC has published over 20 ESI highly cited papers in journals such as Nature and Nature Computational Science, and four refereed books related to digital twin design, manufacturing, service, and workshop practice.
Building upon these, DTIRC also contributes to the global academic community by hosting two international journals: Digital Twin and Digital Engineering, as well as organizing the Digital Twin International Conference.
