Founded in May 2005, Beihang University Education Foundation (BHUEF) is a 4A non-public foundation, which was approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and managed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Its initial funding was 20 million yuan.

BHUEF adheres to the tenet that meets the requirements of development and reformation of national educational cause. It accepts and manages the donation from all sectors of the society, and insists on the purpose of construction and development of Beihang University. It sticks to the foundation policy of “Standardization, Innovation, Safety, Efficiency, Openness and Transparency” and helps Beihang University become a world-class university which integrates the characteristics of aeronautics, astronautics and informatics.
