International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Base of Advanced Aeronautical Materials

With the vision to cooperate with top colleges and universities, unite top talents and build top international schools, the International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Base of Advanced Aeronautical Materials seeks to carry out high-quality international collaboration projects and develop talent cultivation mechanism concerned with the discipline of materials. It strives to build itself into a training base for international innovative talents, a cultivation base for world-class scientific and technological achievements and a demonstration base for international scientific and technological cooperation.

The base has established cooperative relationships with a number of world-class universities, colleges and research institutes, among which there are University of California, Berkeley, Tohoku University, Ecoles Centrales, Forschungszentrum Juelich, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Forschungszentrum Juelich GmbH, the University of Tennessee, the University of Pittsburgh, etc.

The base has been cooperating with a number of world's leading scientists and technical experts in the field of Materials Science, including Prof. Ritchie, a member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE), who is also a world-renowned scientist in the field of materials' fatigue and fracture, Academician Williams, a senior expert in engine materials, Academician Coey, a world-leading expert in magnetic physics and materials, Academician Akihisa Inoue, an international scientist in the field of nonequilibrium metallic materials, etc.
