1. Laboratory Introduction

Based at Beihang University, the National Engineering Center of Science and Technology Resource Sharing Service was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China in May, 2013. The center is mainly engaged in the research of key technologies, the formulation of standards and norms, the development of software products and the service of scientific and technological resources for the sharing of scientific and technological resources, so as to promote the efficiency utilization of China's scientific and technological resources.

2. Construction Goals

The laboratory aims to become a domestically first-class and internationally advanced base with unique characteristics. Based on scientific and technological sharing services and common key technologies, the center tries to establish itself as the base for innovation and engineering demonstration. It also strives to become the base for research, development and promotion of sharing technical standards, the training base for engineering and management talents as well as the service center for scientific and technological resources. The lab plays a leading role in the modern service industry of national scientific and technological resources, fostering the development of scientific and technological resource sharing services.

3. Research Directions

In response to common key technical issues affecting China's science and technology resource sharing services, the center mainly carries out researches in the following aspects:

(1) The formulation of standard specification and control of data quality;

(2) The organization and management of massive scientific and technological resources data;

(3) The integration of interdisciplinary scientific and technological resources and knowledge mining;

(4) The collaborative sharing and innovative services related to scientific and technological resources.

4. Laboratory Director

The present director of this laboratory is Prof. Lyu Weifeng，Dean of the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Beihang University.
