Li Bo

Li Bo (1966.8—) is a professor and PhD supervisor of the School of Computer Science and Engineering of Beihang University. He is a distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program and an awardee of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

Prof. Li received his doctor’s degree from Beihang University in 1993. He has long been engaging in the research on intelligent perception, big data analysis, intelligent hardware, intelligent computation of remote sensing information and applications of artificial intelligence. He has also led more than 40 projects of the 973 Program, the 863 Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, armaments or pre-research onarmaments, defense research and so on. He worked as the Chief Scientist of a 973 Program project about the theory and method of understanding digital media, etc.

He has published more than 100 papers in major journals and conferences, and many of his research results have been applied to real systems. He has won a second prize of the State Technological Invention Award and nine provincial or ministry-level prizes. There are over 30 patents in his name.
