Wang Shaoping

Wang Shaoping (1966—) is a professor and PhD supervisor as well as Deputy Dean of the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University. She is a distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program. She is also the director of the Reliability Branch of Operations Research Society of China, and vice-chairman of Society of Capital Women Professors. She was a guest professor at Purdue University, Ecoles Centrales, SMC Research Center in Japan and so on.

In recent years, Prof. Wang has been dedicated to the basic and applied research of electromechanical control, fault diagnosis, health management, reliability and accelerated life test. She explores the theory of electro-mechanical system and flight control system service with high reliability, dynamic reliability theory on the basis of performance degradation, and so on.

Prof. Wang has published three books, one translation and one work published by Springer. She has also published over 270 academic papers, 20 in journals indexed by SCI and 157 in journals by EI. Besides, she won a second prize of State Technological Invention Award, a second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and 15 provincial or ministry-level science and technology progress awards. She has obtained 12 authorized patents, 25 accepted patents, and 10 software copyrights.
