
Yang Lijun (1970.6—) is a professor and PhD supervisor of the School of Astronautics and Vice Director of the Institute of Science and Technology of Beihang University. He received his doctor’s degree from Beihang University in 2004. He was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2015, and elected as a distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program in 2016.
At present, Prof. Yang also works as the vice executive president of Beijing Thermophysics and Energy Engineering Society, a member of the committee for fluid mechanics and vice leader of the panel for non-Newtonian fluid mechanics of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, and an editor of the fifth and sixth editorial board of Journal of Aerospace Power.
He has led over 40 national projects and published more than 60 papers in journals listed in the Science Citation Index. He has also edited a textbook about the design of the thrust chamber of liquid rocket engines and won three national, ministry-level or city-level prizes. Besides, he has 20 patents in his name.
