Wu Junjie

Wu Junjie (1979.7-) is currently a full professor in Information Systems Department, School of Economics and Management, Beihang University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Management Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2008, from where he also holds a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering. He is the director of the Research Center for Data Intelligence, and the vice director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Emergency Support Simulation Technologies for City Operations.

His general area of research is data mining, with a special interest in social, urban and financial computing. He is the PI of one NSFC key project (IoT Big Data Mining), one MOST 863 project (Social Computing), and various MIIT 242 projects (Information Security). He has published one monograph in Springer and over 100 papers in refereed conference proceedings (e.g., KDD, IJCAI, AAAI) and journals (e.g., ISR, TKDE, TIP). One of his papers was selected as a ten-year highly cited paper by Essential Science Indicators (ESI).

He is the recipient of various nation-wide academic awards, e.g., the NSFC Distinguished Young Scholars, the MOE Changjiang Young Scholars, and the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation.
