On the morning of April 3, Chen Zhili, former State Councillor, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People’s Congress and Honorary President of China Association of Senior Scientists and Technologists (CASST), Li Xueyong, President of CASST and Chairman of Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, and Luo Hui, member of CASST and Director of the Department of International Cooperation, along with other members visited Beihang University. Zhao Changlu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Beihang University, and Wang Yunpeng, President of Beihang University attended the meeting.

Chen Zhili and his delegation visited the State Key Laboratory of Virtual Reality Technology and System. Zhao Qinping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, explained in detail the construction of the laboratory and important scientific research achievements.

Zhao Changlu and Wang Yunpeng extended their warm welcome to the delegation, expressed their heartfelt thanks to CASST for its strong and steadfast support for Beihang, and introduced the fruitful achievements of the university in the areas of talent cultivation, scientific research, and discipline construction.

After the visit, a symposium for special experts of CASST was held in Ruxin Conference Center of Beihang University.
