Jointly initiated by the China Simulation Federation, Japan Society for Simulation Technology, Korea Society for Simulation, Society of Simulation and Gaming of Singapore, and Malaysian Simulation Society, the Asia Simulation Federation is among the first batch of international science and technology organizations based in universities in China, and the first international organization initiated and established by Beihang University.

In his address, Wang Zili emphasized the crucial role of simulation technology in promoting scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading. He noted that the ASIASIM has provided a platform for innovative cooperation across borders, industries and disciplines. The China Simulation Federation will unswervingly support the construction and development of the federation, strengthen collaborative innovation, and jointly promote the sound development of the simulation industry ecosystem. He called on experts, scholars, research institutions and enterprises in the simulation field to join hands to break down barriers and promote the development of simulation technology and the progress of the industry.

Axel Lehmann extended his warm congratulations on the establishment of ASIASIM and reviewed the origin and development of the federation. He stressed that the establishment marks a milestone in deepening the cooperation among societies, experts and enterprises in the simulation field in Asian countries. It enables the exchange of simulation technology not only within Asia but also on a global scale. He hoped that the federation would play an essential role in promoting international technology sharing and innovative cooperation, and contributing to global scientific and technological progress and social transformation.

Satoshi Tanaka conveyed sincere congratulations on the launching of the federation. He emphasized the pivotal role of ASIASIM in advancing simulation technology within Asia and in fostering global academic collaboration and technological innovation. He extended his sincere gratitude to the federation's leadership and experts from various countries for their efforts and commitment. Tanaka pledged continued support and active participation in the federation's initiatives, advocating for the further advancement of simulation technology worldwide.

M. Jamal Deen, in his congratulatory speech, highlighted ASIASIM's inauguration as a significant step forward in the era of innovation and international cooperation in simulation science. He noted that the federation aims to drive cutting-edge innovation in simulation technology and address pressing global challenges. Through international collaboration, it has the potential not only to foster technological progress but also to facilitate the accumulation of scientific knowledge, contributing to sustainable global development. Deen expressed his gratitude to all members for their dedication and confidence for the federation's future role in advancing international collaboration.

Zhang Lin underscored the strategic importance of simulation technology in understanding and transforming the world. He explained how simulation serves as an essential tool for reducing trial-and-error costs, enhancing decision-making processes, and addressing complex challenges. Zhang thanked Beihang University's Hangzhou International Campus for providing a conducive environment and resources to support the federation's sustainable growth. He reaffirmed ASIASIM's commitment to its core values of openness, innovation, collaboration, inclusivity, and shared success. Zhang concluded with a vision to strengthen partnerships with other international organizations and foster a thriving simulation ecosystem in Asia and beyond.

Zhao Weisheng, Vice President of Beihang University, reflected on Beihang's longstanding contributions to the field of simulation technology, highlighting its achievements in scientific research, technological development, and academic exchanges. He announced the establishment of an international simulation innovation platform at Beihang's Hangzhou International Campus to support the federation's future activities and foster international cooperation in simulation technology research and development. Zhao outlined three key expectations: to maximize the federation's platform function by enhancing international exchanges and collaboration, to deepen integration between education and industry for cultivating top-tier talents, and to strengthen the cultivation of talents with a global vision.

In a symbolic moment, 22 distinguished guests pressed the button together, officially launching the ASIASIM. This was followed by the signing of two strategic partnership agreements between ASIASIM and the Federation of European Simulation Societies, and between ASIASIM and Dassault Systemes.

The event also featured the 1st International Symposium on Frontier Simulation Technologies, themed “Simulation Lights the Future.” Keynote speeches were delivered by Wang Jian, M. Jamal Deen, Satoshi Tanaka, and Axel Lehmann, who shared their insights on the latest developments and future directions in simulation technology.

The symposium's panel discussion, moderated by Li Liang, Professor at Ritsumeikan University and Council Member of the Asia Simulation Federation, brought together prominent experts in simulation, including Wu Jianping, Executive Director of the China Simulation Federation, Byeong-Yun Chang, President of the Korea Society for Simulation, Gary Tan, President of the Society of Simulation and Gaming of Singapore, Zaharuddin Mohamed, Chairman of the Malaysian Simulation Society, Fred Hardtke, Board Member of Simulation Australasia, Yan Xuezhuan, China Industry Consultant Senior Director of Dassault Systemes, and Peter Lendermann, Chief Business Development Officer of D-SIMLAB Technologies China.
