From February 10 to 12, a delegation comprising Professors Zhang Lin, Weng Jingnong, and Lai Liyuanjun from Beihang University visited the University of Genoa (UniGe) in Italy. During their visit, they had in-depth exchanges with the Simulation Team from the UniGe and representatives from the Federation of European Simulation Societies (EUROSIM), including Marco Gotelli, Antonio Giovannetti, and Marina Massei.
The discussions focused on a wide range of collaborative initiatives, including student exchange programs, establishing an international joint laboratory, reciprocal internships arrangements, co-organizing the 2025 World Simulation Conference, EUROSIM’s support in inviting European experts and enterprises, setting up a simulation team office at Beihang Hangzhou International Campus, providing scholarships for Beihang students through UniGe's Strategos program, and selecting students for the 2025 Beihang Hangzhou Summer School.
The delegation met with Professor Delfino, President of the UniGe, and signed an inter-university agreement between the two universities. Additionally, the two sides signed an agreement on student exchanges and an agreement on jointly building a laboratory between Beihang International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology and UniGe's Simulation Team.

Professor Agostino Bruzzone, President of UniGe's Simulation Team and President of EUROSIM, is renowned for his expertise in data analysis, modeling and simulation (M&S), and artificial intelligence (AI). Professor Zhang Lin's research team at Beihang University has collaborated with Professor Agostino Bruzzone for over a decade in scientific research, talent cultivation, paper publications, and academic conferences, yielding fruitful outcomes and fostering a profound friendship.
During their stay, the delegation also toured three renowned simulation companies in Genoa, including NOVEO, HORSA, and STARA GLASS.
