For sixty years, the School of Electronic and Information Engineering at Beihang University has been at the forefront of China's aerospace electronics revolution. Established as the nation's first aviation radio department and first aviation electronics program, it has a storied legacy of innovation and academic excellence.
Propelled by top-tier national initiatives (Project 211, Project 985, Double First-Class), the School has dramatically broadened its horizons. Its academic portfolio now spans cutting-edge fields such as Information and Communication Engineering, Electronic Science and Technology, Transportation Engineering, and Optical Engineering.
The School is now a nationally renowned epicenter for talent and research, distinguished by two first-class academic disciplines, four national first-class undergraduate programs, 14 doctoral and master's programs in Engineering, and two postdoctoral research stations.
Organized into seven specialized departments and an Experimental Teaching Center, the School fosters a dynamic community of over 2,000 full-time students, with graduates outnumbering undergraduates two-to-one.
