Abstract:
Ceramic art is one of humanity's earliest forms of art. From primitive pottery and painted pottery, to pottery in Shang and Zhou dynasties, ceramics in Han dynasty, glazed pottery in Tang dynasty...the ceramic art of each era has undergone changes, reflecting the spirit of the times. Contemporary Chinese ceramic art, influenced by modern design and modern art, especially in today's era of globalization, faces the crucial task of inheriting and leveraging our strengths as a traditional Chinese ceramic art, focusing on the future development of society, and achieving a localized contemporary transformation.
This lecture will share insights around the following three core topics:
1. The Integration of Ceramic Art with Contemporary Environmental Spaces
2. Creating through Inheritance: Form, Performance, and Artistic Settings
3. Blossoming in Life—Zhu Legeng's Special Exhibition of Environmental Ceramic Art
