About the Performers:
Spina & Benignetti Piano Duo from Italy is an exemplary contemporary piano duo formed in 2013 and currently official Yamaha Artists. Renowned for their exceptional skill and unique artistic temperament, they are active globally in performances, recordings, and education.

The duo has won gold medals at the Manhattan International Music Competition and the Global Music Awards (USA). They have achieved outstanding results in various competitions dedicated to chamber music and piano duo performances, such as Pietro Argento Competition (Italy), London Piano Masters (Royal College of Music, London), Concours Musical de France, and International Artists Competition (Vienna). These international achievements have enabled them to perform on radio stations such as France Musique (Génération Jeunes Interprètes, Le Live), Rai Radio3 Italy, SBS Australia, and Art Sound FM (Canberra, Australia). Additionally, their recorded works have been streamed on Vatican Radio, Rete Toscana Classica (Italy), Cultura FM (Brazil), and Radio Télévision Suisse.
They have performed in major concert halls across Europe and around the world, and have been invited to perform in South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, where their tours have been met with enthusiastic acclaim from audiences and critics. After their complete recording of Brahms's works for two pianos (Brilliant Classics, 2015), unanimously acclaimed by the press, they released Lifetime (Sheva Collection, 2017), a triple Global Music Awards winner. This was followed by Visions (Sheva Collection, 2021), featuring the world premiere of a transcription of César Franck, and Schubert's Music for Piano Four Hands (Ulysses Arts, 2022), which was certified as Apple Digital Masters, featuring Schubert's classic two-piano works and a four-hand transcription of the Trout Quintet, D. 667. In October 2024, a new album,Transcriptions for Piano Four Hands was released by Piano Classics.
Alongside their concert career, Eleonora and Michele are passionate pedagogues. Professors at the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse in Soissons (France), they are regularly invited to give master classes in many countries, including France, China, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Guatemala.
