The Center for Space Science Education and Research Collaboration was established in October 2022, jointly supported by the School of Space and Earth Science of Beihang University and the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It serves as an interdisciplinary innovation platform dedicated to advancing fundamental and frontier studies in space science. The Center brings together leading experts and talents from home and abroad, actively participating in space science satellite missions, and fostering sustained research strength in areas such as space physics, lunar and planetary sciences.

Its mission is to enhance China's academic competitiveness in major national space programs and deep space exploration, while addressing key scientific challenges of the space environment. Research at the Center focuses on three main directions: Space Physics and Space Exploration Technology, Lunar and Planetary Science, and Space Astronomy and Fundamental Physics.
