On November 22, the 18th Enterprise Open Day was held at the grand lecture hall of the Ruxin Conference Center at the Xueyuan Road Campus, organized by the Sino-French Engineer School/School of General Engineering of Beihang University.
The event attracted 25 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises, including Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Safran (Beijing) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., AVIC Intl Project Engineering Company, and CETC (China Electronics Technology Group Corporation) International. Covering cutting-edge fields such as aerospace, electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, and international trade, it provided a high-quality platform for Beihang students to communicate directly with enterprise representatives, gain in-depth insights into industry trends, and explore career development paths.
The opening ceremony was attended by Zhao Weisheng, Vice President of Beihang University, leaders of the Sino-French Engineer School/School of General Engineering, and enterprise representatives from various industries.
Adnane Boukamel, the French Dean of the Sino-French Engineer School/School of General Engineering, delivered a speech. He extended a warm welcome to the arrival of the 25 renowned domestic and foreign enterprises and pointed out that the Enterprise Open Day is an important platform for students to communicate with enterprises, achieving a win-win situation for all parties. By providing internships or first job opportunities, it helps students integrate smoothly into their professional careers and assists enterprises in recruiting outstanding talent; at the same time, it strengthens the ties between the school and enterprises, enabling the school to better align with enterprises' expectations for future engineers and enabling enterprises to participate in student training through lectures, university-enterprise courses, project collaboration and other approaches. He sincerely thanked the enterprise representatives for their presence and support, as well as for providing internships and job opportunities for students.
Geng Lisheng, the Chinese Dean of the Sino-French Engineer School/School of General Engineering, expressed sincere gratitude to the participating enterprise representatives on behalf of the school in his speech. He introduced that a total of 25 enterprises participated in the Enterprise Open Day this year, 10 of which were participating for the first time, marking the steady expansion of the school's corporate partnership network. He reviewed the school's development since its establishment in 2005 and noted that 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the school's founding, which has received great attention from government departments such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the China Scholarship Council, and the China Education Association for International Exchange. The school is committed to cultivating general engineers with trilingual proficiency in Chinese, English and French, providing strong talent support for enterprises' overseas development. He also revealed that the school is actively advancing educational reform, expanding channels for international cooperative education, promoting the internationalization of education, developing overseas projects, and promoting China's higher education model worldwide.
Following the opening ceremony, the participating enterprise representatives took a group photo in front of the Ruxin Lecture Hall.

Subsequently, during the one-on-one exchange session, enterprise representatives conducted face-to-face communication with students, accepted resumes on site and held preliminary interviews. Students asked questions on topics such as job responsibilities, career development, corporate culture and technological trends, and enterprise representatives answered patiently, facilitating an efficient matching between talent and positions. Many students said that this "immersive and targeted" communication model is far more effective than traditional one-way presentations, giving them a clearer understanding of industry needs and personal career positioning.

Moving forward, the Sino-French Engineer School/School of General Engineering will continue to deepen the university-enterprise cooperation mechanism, expand international cooperation resources, and help students grow into outstanding engineers with international perspective, innovative spirit and practical capabilities.
